Today I seem to have gone on totally opposite sides of the colour spectrum – light colours with Lucas Allen’s photos and dark with this post.

I don’t know if you have noticed, but lately there seem to be a lot of very bold dark rooms (rich browns, deep grays, opulent blues, pure black) on interior design magazines and designer portfolios. Normally I’m am drawn to light colours with bold colourful contrasts, but these deep dark coloured rooms look so sophisticated and luxurious I cannot help lusting after them as well. Which do you prefer, light or dark colours?
