Aren’t these floors decofabulous?

Arent these floors decofabulous

The Art Deco style emerged in the mid 1920’s and took inspiration on elegantly balanced geometrical shapes. Checkered black and white floors became very popular back then and I am happy to see this 20’s retro vibe has made a comeback.

Black and white will always be bold and versatile allowing for a wide range of colour combinations. Make a statement with black and white checkered floors: gorgeous citric yellow is my favourite combo at the moment but for a more dramatic look, red or coral orange are the best; turquoise and other shades of blue will tone it down and chartreuse or lime green will freshen the look.

Fancy a game of chess? Get ready to play it on your checkered floor.

I don't think I could ever have a checkered floor. I'm weirdly obsessed with shapes and counting, I would seriously go nuts! They look really cute though!
