Pantone colour of the year 2010
Via Do it Yourself

The beautiful turquoise!! I am delighted with this choice as turquoise is one of my favourite colours.

According to Pantone, turquoise “combines the serene qualities of blue and the invigorating aspects of green, evoking  thoughts of soothing, tropical waters and a languorous, effective escape from the everyday troubles of the world, while at the same time restoring our sense of wellbeing”. Turquoise is a tremendously versatile colour which works well with warm and cool colours.
