If I had to identify a trend in interior design for 2009, I would definitely say that plates as wall decor would be a strong contender for the top 10. Big or small, vintage or contemporary, colourful or tonal, balanced or off, the beauty of these wall art compositions is in the mixing and matching of the plates, as many as you like. I feel sorry I did not keep some of my grandmother vintage plates, they would make up such a beautiful wall.
