Paul Dyer did not set out to be a photographer, instead he took a degree in finance which was followed by a number diverse of jobs from loans officer to construction worker. Photography was a just a hobby, however, one he was so passionate about he decided to pursue it as a career.

If I had to describe Michael Partenio’s photographs Twitter style I would go for “perfect balance” and that would still leave me with 125 characters to spare. :) His portfolio of interior photography is impressive, all the images are exquisitely styled and Michael manages to add a serene touch to all of them. What better way to start the week than to click through his beautiful online showcase?

Interior photographers are such lucky people, they get to travel around shooting the most fabulous locations. I would love to be one, however, the job requires natural talent and skill. The latter can be acquired with training, but natural talent you either have it or you don’t. I suspect I don’t. :) Meanwhile I can always admire the works of talented photographers such as Andreas Trauttmansdorff.

What better way to start the week than with the inspiring photography from the talented photographer Alec Hemer. 

Paul Barbera is a tremendously talented Australian photographer who specializes in interiors. His work is absolutely sublime and can be admired in magazines such as Bloom, Elle Decor, Freudin, Grazia, Vogue Living or Jalouse. Be prepared to spend hours looking through his amazing posrtfolio both on his website and on his blog. I confess I did. 

Annie Schlechter’s client list is impressive, featuring names like Domino, House Beautiful, Jonathan Adler, Real Simple, New York Times Magazine or Wallpaper to name a few. I was amused by her profile on her website where she confesses her love for food and polka dots. She may not take herself very seriously, but she takes her work very seriously as you will be able to tell from her inspiring interior photos.

I think I will be making Monday the inspirational photography day. Judging by the amazing talent out there, I could do this feature tens of times daily and not exhaust the list of photographers doing a fabulous job out of capturing lovely interior shots.  This week I am bringing you Boston photographer Bob O’Connor.

Mark Lund’s photos caught my attention the minute I saw them in Desire to Inspire. It may be gray and cold out there but Mark’s photos are light and happy, the kind that would cure anyone from seasonal depression.

Every time I come across talent like that of Frédéric Vasseur I am reminded that only the really talented photographers can make photography look so effortless and easy. He always manages to capture amazing light and colour in his fabulously staged interior shots.
