DYI does not have to be difficult or complicated. I have found a fine example of an easy makeover performed on a couple of Ikea Träby units put together to create a credenza. Tyler Goodro from Plastolux is the man behind the simple and easy makeover, check out the original post here.

My technique to strike the right balance between multiple framed pictures, art, etc. was to lay all of the frames on the floor recreating it on the wall once I had found the right layout.
