Some of my recent Flickr finds – the classic Ikea Expedit bookcase. I admit to being biased on this one as an Ikea fan and a proud owner of an Expedit bookcase. The Expedit is such an affordable and well designed piece of furniture, easily assembled ( although my partner would argue with me on this ), available in a range of finishes/colours ( my preference goes to the white one ) and can be used to store books, toys, stationery, collections, CDs/DVDs to craft materials and pretty much everything you want to. You probably have already seen these images in Apartment Therapy, however, I could not help sharing them with those of you who live in small spaces, and have not seen this book storage solution yet. Using up the available space in the staircase to store books is just a genious idea. You can read the original post here.
