Vanessa de Vargas beach bungalow makeover

One of my favourite articles on the second edition of Lonny Magazine (page 125) is the feature on interior designer Vanessa de Vargas’ 1920s beach bungalow.

This is the third makeover in the 12 years and it’s clear from the before and after photos the strong contrast in styles – before it was dark and vintage glam, now it’s light, airy and beautifully eclectic. Vanessa understands the value of well made furniture and is no stranger to hunting down good pieces at garage sales and Ebay which she rejuvenates to reflect her style - the green bureau in her entryway is a fine example of this. I love the master bedroom, it just feels like a fabulous beach retreat. Check out Vanessa’s interior portfolio here.
