Bokja Design

The name Bokja is an old Turkish description for an embellished velvet wrapping of treasured items meant for special occasions. For the past nine years, Hoda Baroudi and Maria Hibri - the two Lebanese female designers behind Bokja Design - have been creating contemporary furniture with opulent antique textiles and tapestries from the Middle East and Central Asia.

They employ local skilled artisans to produce their unique and hand made bohemian looking furniture. Don’t you just love their designs?
