Capellini’s Proust Geometrica |

I feel so tempted to start a post category called “If money were no object” which would be kind of a wish list of items I lust after, so that I could feature pices such as the Capellini Proust Geometrica. Definitely an object of desire that I do not envisage being able to own any time soon.
Originally created by in 1978 for the Palazzo dei Diamanti in Ferrara it quickly became an iconic piece of twentieth century design. This year the Proust armchairwas refreshed with a fabulous fabric designed by Alessandro Mendini and released as the Proust Geometrica. The original shape was preserved but the new extravagant fabric and colourway definitely add to the wow factor. Share this article in...
