Although I am not one to favour an all neutrals interior, I was immediately drawn to Ivy’s apartment 44 when I found it in Flickr. There is such a calm, cool and summery feel to the interiors I could picture myself in it, back from the beach, relaxing with a good book in the afternoon.

Ivy proves that contemporary interiors do not have to be designed with expensive designer items to look fabulous, you can achieve that unique look with inexpensive Ikea pieces combined with recycled vintage items. I love the wall papered niche in the master bedroom, but I would have finished it with a striking mirror instead of the frames, other than that, pure perfection.
