Sara Walker lives in a colourful and eclectic old brick and iron cottage on the Western coast of Australia. She sees herself as a creative spirit “trapped in the body of a public servant personal assistant” and blogs about “colourful, homely, creative things and sometimes just stuff” over at Sara One Day.

Her home’s eclectic character is built upon a collection of hand me downs, roadside finds and vintage gifts mixed with new bits and bobs.
“I'm a bit of a hoarder and am always bring old found things home and seem to be attracted to bright coloured decorations” she confesses, “ I love other people's sheds - especially those of older generations, sheds filled with lovely rusty tins and things.” Sara’s home is “space challenged” :)  therefore constant editing was the key to keep the hoarder in her under control.
