Flickr real life homes: Jonathan’s not so mundane home |

Jon has a keen eye for artwork and mid-century modern furniture but is finding it difficult to stop buying all the finds he loves. Most of the treasures around his home have been either thrifted or acquired at estate sales. He reckons if he buys anymore stuff he either needs to move out or start his own shop. With your impeccable taste and styling skills that would not be a bad idea Jon! Jon draws much of the interior design inspiration from blogs, design magazines and hotels. He is also a firm believer in being adventurous with colour: “You can do so much to a room with just paint, and I like to experiment with how much paint goes on the wall, as opposed to just painting the entire wall. You may notice several different color-blocking techniques”. His home feels just the way he wanted it, light and comfortable, and I would add that it also feels happy and vibrant, a true reflection of its dweller.
