Belinda's gorgeous home from down under

A few years ago Belinda Graham and her husband “bought the worst house in one of the best streets, metres from a beautiful waterfront reserve on the central coast of NSW” in Australia and have been slowly renovating it ever since.

Belinda, a former editor for Real Living magazine (her dream job), turned her back on the three hour long daily commute to her job, after her children were born. She is now happier as a freelance writer, blogger and mother of two adorable and creative children who insist on helping her with her projects, whether she likes it or not. The slow renovation of her home, her DIY projects and family life have given her plenty to write about in her blog.

My favourites from her home are her children’s rooms. I love the chalkboard painted buildings in Zak’s room which creates not only a focal point but also a unique headboard for his bed. For Layla’s room Belinda indulged in to her favourite colour combo since she was a child: purple and yellow and created a feminine and gorgeous nursery.

For more of her on-going home renovation process, check her Flickr photostream.
