Pantone selected yellow as the colour of the year 2009. "The colour yellow exemplifies the warmth and nurturing quality of the sun, properties we as humans are naturally drawn to for reassurance," According to Leatrice Eiseman, executive director of the Pantone Color Institute. "Mimosa also speaks to enlightenment, as it is a hue that sparks imagination and innovation."

Yellow has not been a popular colour for many years, but its come back has been in style. It was a popular Summer choice but it seems to also be destined as a Fall/Winter favourite. I have put together a series of interiors that showcase how trendy it can be, beginning with bedrooms.
