Does greige put you to sleep? |

Another favourite among my Twitter followers was greige. What is greige, some of you may be asking? Well, until recently I hadn’t heard of it either, so I looked it up: “greige is an unbleached and un-dyed cloth or yarn” but also “a colour blending gray and beige”. That’s when I went: aha, my living room is painted greige! I called it taupe at the time, but people kept looking at it and calling it either dark beige or gray. Now I can tell them it’s greige! As I feel the constant need to change my house around, I chose this colour because it was a rich neutral that worked well with so many colour accents. This way, I can easily do a budget makeover just by changing the soft furnishings and a few props and not have to worry about repainting it for a long time. Greige is a fabulous choice for the bedroom. You want to wake up in a tranquil environment but you don’t want to be bored by its colour so greige, being richer than cream adds character to the bedroom but keeps it soothing and relaxing.
