Aren’t these floors decofabulous? |
|
|
The Art Deco style emerged in the mid 1920’s and took inspiration on elegantly balanced geometrical shapes. Checkered black and white floors became very popular back then and I am happy to see this 20’s retro vibe has made a comeback. Black and white will always be bold and versatile allowing for a wide range of colour combinations. Make a statement with black and white checkered floors: gorgeous citric yellow is my favourite combo at the moment but for a more dramatic look, red or coral orange are the best; turquoise and other shades of blue will tone it down and chartreuse or lime green will freshen the look.
